I'm completely new to Linux and want to install it on an older Asus TP200S laptop with a Celeron processor, up to 4 GB of RAM, and roughly 30 GB of internal storage. I'll mainly use it for watching videos and possibly doing some digital art with the touchscreen, so reliable touchscreen support is important. I also plan to use a microSD card for additional storage. Which lightweight Linux distribution would be a good fit?

antiX is another good option if you want something especially lightweight. It can use very little memory—around 200 MB when idle—so it should leave more resources available for video playback and other apps.
MX Linux with the XFCE desktop would be a strong choice for those specs. It runs well on low-power 2-in-1 systems, and the touchscreen should work without much setup or manual calibration.
