What no-code tools can sync data between different applications?

I'm looking for a point-and-click system that can move or synchronize records between different applications and databases without requiring me to write custom scripts. Ideally, I want to connect fields between systems, define triggers, and specify what should happen when a record is created or updated. For example, when a fleet-tracking application records new mileage for a vehicle, the same mileage should be added to that vehicle's record in a fleet-maintenance system. I realize the exact solution depends on the applications involved, but I'm mainly looking for the right category of tools or products to investigate.

Be careful with tools that promise completely effortless integrations. You may still need to handle authentication, matching records between systems, field conversions, errors, duplicate updates, and API limitations. Before choosing a product, confirm that it supports both applications as endpoints and can identify the same vehicle reliably in each database.

That makes sense. I was mainly trying to find the right term, and iPaaS or middleware seems to describe what I need. I'll compare a few tools based on their connectors and how much configuration they require.

The general category you're looking for is an iPaaS, or integration platform as a service. These provide visual workflows where you connect applications, map fields, and define triggers and actions. Boomi and Informatica are examples aimed more at business and enterprise integrations.

This is also commonly described as middleware or an ETL integration. Apache NiFi and Apache Camel are open-source options, but they are more technical and usually aren't as friendly for someone who wants a purely graphical setup. The easiest route is usually finding a platform with built-in connectors for both of your applications.

Take a look at Zapier, Make, or n8n. They let you build trigger-and-action workflows with much less coding than a custom integration. n8n also has a free self-hosted option, although more complicated workflows may still require some scripting or technical setup.
