I want to play Minecraft, Garry's Mod, GTA, and several shooter games, while also using FL Studio, editing video, and possibly streaming. The Ryzen 7 7700X seems appealing, but I'm unsure which graphics card, power supply, memory, SSD, motherboard, cooler, case, and monitor would pair well with it. I'll probably buy the parts from major retailers, and I'd appreciate recommendations for a reliable, affordable tower build. Please also point out which components matter most and which upgrades are optional.

Pair that with a current midrange graphics card such as an RX 9060 XT-class card or an RTX 5060 Ti-class card, depending on pricing and whether you care more about raw gaming performance, streaming tools, or video-editing features. Add a well-reviewed 750W Gold modular PSU, a ventilated ATX case, and a tower air cooler. If the $1,600 includes the monitor, leave roughly $150–$250 for a good 1080p or 1440p display before choosing the rest of the parts.
For this budget, focus most of the money on the graphics card, then get 32GB of DDR5 memory and at least a 1TB NVMe SSD. A Ryzen 5 7600 or Ryzen 7 7700X on AM5 would both work well, but the 7700X isn’t essential for gaming unless your editing, music work, or streaming benefits from the extra cores. A midrange Radeon or GeForce card should handle 1080p very well, and a stronger card makes sense if you want 1440p. Use a quality 650–750W 80+ Gold power supply, a B650 motherboard with the features you need, and a decent air cooler. A basic B650 board is enough, and the included or inexpensive case fans are usually fine if the case has a mesh front. You can save money on RGB, premium liquid cooling, high-end motherboards, and ultra-fast PCIe 5.0 SSDs. Spend those savings on the GPU, a larger SSD, or the monitor instead.
