I recently bought an RTX 5080 and have had trouble getting it working in my older system, so I'm considering building a new PC around it. The current plan includes a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, an air cooler, an AM5 motherboard with Wi-Fi and integrated graphics, 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 2TB NVMe SSD, a Fractal Design case, and my existing 1000W power supply. I already own the RTX 5080, 49-inch 5120×1440 144Hz OLED monitor, and PSU. The goal is to play modern games at the highest settings on the ultrawide display while keeping the remaining parts under roughly $2,000. I prefer air cooling, don't care much about RGB, and specifically want integrated graphics and built-in Wi-Fi for easier troubleshooting. Is there anything important missing or any parts I should reconsider?

Since the monitor is already purchased, keeping the rest of the build under $2,000 should be realistic. The parts list looks broadly suitable for the 5080 and your ultrawide gaming target, but double-check the memory pricing and storage choice before ordering. Also make sure the case has enough room for the large graphics card and that the power supply uses the proper modern GPU power connector.
