While replacing my cooler, I accidentally bent several pins in the CPU socket of my ASRock B650I Lightning motherboard. I managed to carefully move a couple back into place, but many are still bent and I'm worried I'll cause more damage if I keep trying. I'm also short on money right now and am checking whether the motherboard warranty could help, although I'm unsure if accidental physical damage is covered. What are my safest options?

If you try to straighten them yourself, use strong magnification, bright lighting, and a very fine needle or precision tool. Make tiny adjustments instead of trying to move a whole group at once. The pins are extremely fragile, so stop if they start resisting or appear close to breaking.
Physical damage such as bent CPU socket pins usually isn’t covered by a standard motherboard warranty, so it’s unlikely the manufacturer will replace it for free. You can either attempt a careful repair or look for a replacement board, used board, or a reputable repair shop.
Since there are many bent socket pins, a professional repair service is probably safer than continuing by hand. Some shops can realign or replace socket pins for less than the cost of a new motherboard. Don’t power the system on until the pins are aligned and the CPU can sit completely flat without force.
