I'm trying to build my first entry-level gaming PC in Brazil. I was considering a B650M motherboard with a Ryzen 5 7600, an RX 590 as a temporary graphics card, and 16GB of RAM that I'd upgrade later. The parts currently total about R$3,000, and my maximum budget is roughly R$3,800 once the case, power supply, storage, and other components are included. I'll also look at used parts to get better value. I don't know much about PC building, so I'd appreciate recommendations for cheaper or better alternatives. I mainly want to play games casually now while keeping the system useful and upgradeable for the next few years.

With that budget, I’d seriously consider going with AM4 and putting more of the money into the graphics card. Something like a Ryzen 7 5700 with an RX 7600 and DDR4 memory should provide much better gaming performance than pairing a newer platform with an RX 590. AM4 doesn’t have much of an upgrade path left, but it’s still a capable platform, and you’d likely get more performance for your money right now. You could use the system for several years and move to AM5 later when prices are more reasonable.
That was one of my concerns too—I worried that choosing AM4 would make upgrading to AM5 later unnecessarily difficult. I had put together an AM4 build before and it was both cheaper and more powerful, so I’ll look into the Ryzen 7 5700 and compare the options again.
