Does anyone know how restocking usually works for these marketplace sellers, or whether a restock is likely soon? I'd also appreciate advice on finding a reliable seller that ships to Canada.

I’ve bought several CPUs and other PC parts through established marketplace sellers without problems. That said, an expensive CPU is still a gamble, so check the return policy and buyer protection before ordering. Recording yourself opening the package is also a good idea in case the item is missing or counterfeit.
These listings are sold by independent stores, so there’s no universal restock date. A seller might replenish inventory quickly, or the listing may disappear permanently. Since the alternatives are only about $100 CAD more, compare the final price, shipping, taxes, warranty, and return options rather than focusing only on the sticker price.
Marketplace stock can be unpredictable, and there usually isn’t a reliable restock schedule. If one store sells out, you’ll need to watch the listing or check other vendors. Make sure the seller has a long history, at least 1,000 completed sales, and roughly 95% or better positive feedback. Coupons may also bring the price down, but check whether the seller actually ships to Canada.
That makes sense. I’ll keep watching the listing, but I’ll also compare the total cost with local options since the savings may not be worth the extra risk.
