I'm building my first PC and connecting the fans in my Cooler Master Elite 481 case. One 4-pin PWM male connector doesn't seem to have an obvious place to plug it in. All of the fans are already daisy-chained to the motherboard's chassis-fan connection and the ARGB connection. Is this cable supposed to connect somewhere, or can I leave it unused?

Make sure you’re not confusing the PWM fan cable with the ARGB cable. PWM controls fan speed and uses a 4-pin fan header, while ARGB is for lighting and usually has a separate 3-pin connector. The unused PWM plug is probably just there to connect an additional fan.
Check your motherboard manual for the fan-header locations. The fan control connection normally plugs into a 4-pin SYS_FAN or CHA_FAN header on the motherboard.
A male 4-pin PWM connector is usually an output for daisy-chaining another fan. If all your fans are already connected and working through the chassis-fan header, you can leave this extra connector unplugged. It won’t cause a problem.
