I currently have a GTX 1660 SUPER with 6 GB of VRAM, along with Intel UHD 630 integrated graphics. I want to play Planet Zoo 2 comfortably and improve visual quality beyond low settings. The listed minimum graphics cards are the RTX 2060, RX 5600 XT, or Arc A750, while the recommended tier includes the RTX 3070, RX 6700 XT, and Arc A770.
My budget is around €650 maximum, although prices have changed a lot recently—one card I saw for about €322 several months ago now costs nearly €600. I live in Spain and would appreciate advice on current-value options, including newer cards such as the RX 9060 XT if appropriate.
The rest of my system is an Intel i7-9700, 16 GB of RAM, a 480 GB SSD, and a 1 TB hard drive. I believe my power supply is rated around 750 W, but I would need to check the label to confirm the exact model and wattage. Would a card with 8 GB be enough, or would 16 GB provide a worthwhile advantage for this game and my system?

If you can find an RX 9060 XT 16 GB or RX 9070 close to your €650 limit in Spain, those would be worth considering. The exact retailer and current price matter a lot, though. Between the 9060 XT versions, the 16 GB model gives you more room for demanding settings and future games, while the 8 GB card may still be adequate for 1080p if it is substantially cheaper.
Your i7-9700, 16 GB of RAM, and current GTX 1660 SUPER are enough to try the game before upgrading. Management and simulation games can become CPU-limited when the zoo gets very large, so a faster graphics card will not guarantee high frame rates everywhere. Still, an RX 6700 XT or RX 6750 XT would be a sensible match for comfortable 1080p High or Ultra settings if you can find one at a good price.
I’ll test the game with my current card first, but I’d still like better lighting and image quality rather than simply accepting low frame rates.
An RX 6700 XT or 6750 XT is probably the best value among the cards listed in the recommended tier.
