I'm choosing between two component lists for a gaming PC, mainly for Minecraft and The Outlast Trials. My budget is around $1,100, and I'm leaning toward the second build, although the first one would cost less. If their performance is nearly identical, I'd rather save the money. Which build offers the better value, and are there any important differences I should consider?

Both builds should be capable of handling those games well, so the better choice mostly comes down to the differences between their CPUs, graphics cards, and overall upgrade path. If the parts are otherwise very similar, the cheaper build is probably the better value. Since this appears to use the AM4 platform, a future upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D could also provide a strong gaming boost without replacing the whole system.
My main concern is staying within the $1,100 budget. If the two systems perform about the same in actual games, I’d rather choose the cheaper one and use the savings for extra storage or another upgrade.
