Which SSD Brands Can You Trust?

I tend to opt for lesser-known brands like ADATA and Patriot. My Adata XPG8200 Pro has been my main drive for six years without any problems, plus they're more budget-friendly. If you're after good value NVMe drives, check out the Patriot VP4300 or V400.

Most brands nowadays are decent, but some you might not think of that are still reliable are Inland and Mushkin. They’ve surprised me with their performance.

I've never had problems with Samsung SSDs. The 850 EVO, 870 EVO, and 970 EVO are solid choices. But on the flip side, my Silicon Power A55 (which I nicknamed ‘ASS’) can go a bit flaky sometimes; it randomly doesn't get recognized and I have to restart to fix it. So, I've learned to keep less important stuff there.

I've bought SSDs from various brands and never really faced failures. My first Kingston SSD from around 15 years ago is still working! It's all about what you choose.

Samsung has always been my go-to; they perform well and rarely have issues. I also like WD and Crucial, but I think you get more bang for your buck with some of the lesser-known brands like KLEVV or TEAMGROUP.
