I'm looking to upgrade from my RTX 3070 Ti and am deciding between three options: a used RTX 4080 Suprim X for €900, a used RTX 4080 Super Gaming OC for €1,000 with two years of warranty, or a new RTX 5070 Ti TUF OC for €1,100. I mainly play at 1440p and want to stick with NVIDIA. My system has an i7-13700KF with an updated BIOS, 64GB of DDR4 memory, and an 850W Corsair RMx power supply. Which option would you choose for the best overall value and upgrade experience?

Your supporting hardware looks fine for these GPUs. The 13700KF should be more than capable for 1440p gaming, and an 850W RMx power supply is sufficient. Since you don’t need a CPU or platform upgrade and want to stay with NVIDIA, I’d compare the condition and warranty carefully, but personally I’d choose the new 5070 Ti over either used card.
I’d lean toward the new RTX 5070 Ti. Coming from a 3070 Ti, any of these cards would be a major improvement, but the 5070 Ti gives you a brand-new card, current-generation features, and warranty coverage. At only €100 more than the used RTX 4080 Super, it’s probably the safer long-term purchase.
A Radeon 9070 XT could be worth considering at around €799 if you were open to switching brands. The money saved could be substantial, but since you prefer NVIDIA and are specifically looking for a worthwhile upgrade, that option probably isn’t the best fit for your priorities.
The used RTX 4080 Suprim X is very tempting at €900, especially if it’s in excellent condition. It can offer strong performance for the money, but you’re giving up the peace of mind of buying new. The 4080 Super at €1,000 is harder to justify unless the two-year warranty is especially valuable to you, since the 5070 Ti is only slightly more expensive.
I’m happy with my current CPU and would rather avoid changing the motherboard too. I also prefer to stay with NVIDIA, so I’m mainly deciding between the 4080 options and the 5070 Ti.
