Why Do I Experience Low Frame Rates Until I Restart My PC?

I'm experiencing low frame rates and overall poor performance on my computer that seems to resolve only after a restart. Here's my PC build: [link]. I upgraded to 96GB of RAM a few months ago, which I suspect might be related. I don't overclock any components, and all my hardware, software drivers, and BIOS are up to date to address known issues with the 13900k. My RAM is currently operating at lower speeds, around 5400-5600MT/s instead of the advertised 7000MT/s. Performance seems to vary quite a bit; for instance, games that usually run at 140-160fps drop down to a stable 80 and can even go as low as 6fps at times. Additionally, simple software installations can take up to 30 minutes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed in the task manager that your CPU and GPU temps never exceed 70°C and 80°C, which is good. But keep an eye on the RAM as well. If it's overheating, it could still lead to performance throttling. I feel like RAM should have a lesser role after initial loading, but it's best to check all possible angles.

Since you've mentioned your RAM, why not test it with Memtest? This could help rule out any memory issues that might be causing the lag. It's worth a shot, especially since you're running a large amount of RAM.

It sounds like you might be facing some significant thermal throttling. Have you monitored your system temperatures using software like HWiNFO64? It's essential to check that your CPU and GPU temperatures aren't causing the drop in performance.
