My Windows 11 IoT LTSC laptop turns off the display after a period of inactivity, even when I'm watching movies or series in Chrome. This didn't happen before, so I'm wondering whether Chrome or the streaming website is failing to keep the display awake rather than this being a normal power-management setting. How can I fix it?

The browser or video site may not be signaling that media is playing. Try switching the player to full-screen mode, and also test another browser or a different streaming site. If the screen stays on there, Chrome or the original site is likely responsible.
First check the Windows power plan. Open Run with Windows key + R, enter `control panel`, then go to Power Options > Change plan settings. Set “Turn off the display” to a longer period or Never for both battery and plugged-in use, then save the changes.
I’m familiar with that setting, but it never caused this problem before. I’m wondering if Chrome or the streaming site is the real cause.

Full-screen mode didn’t seem to make a difference, so I’ll compare it with another browser to narrow it down.
