Every so often, my mouse pointer changes from white to a faded gray or disappears completely. It also flickers in and out while I'm playing games. Nothing else seems to stop working, but it makes the cursor frustratingly difficult to track. The mouse is wired. What could be causing this, and how can I fix it?
