My desktop repeatedly drops and then reconnects to Wi‑Fi while I'm watching videos or browsing. Other devices on the network seem fine, so the problem appears limited to this PC. It uses an MSI B550 Gaming Edge motherboard with an Intel Wi‑Fi 6 AX200 160MHz adapter. I've already rebooted the router, disabled the adapter's power-saving option, reset Windows network settings, updated and reinstalled the network drivers, run system and DNS commands, tested both 2.4GHz and 5GHz settings, and installed the latest MSI drivers. This may have started after a Windows update. What else should I check?

Make sure both external Wi‑Fi antennas are screwed in tightly and positioned upright. If the timing matches a Windows or driver update, try rolling back the adapter driver as well. Event Viewer may show useful WLAN AutoConfig or wireless-security errors when the connection drops.
Updating the motherboard BIOS may also help with wireless stability and compatibility, especially if the adapter is using a recent driver. Check the exact BIOS version and follow the manufacturer’s update instructions carefully.
It’s worth installing the current Intel AX200 wireless driver directly from Intel rather than relying only on Windows Update or the motherboard manufacturer’s package. If the issue began after an update, compare the current version with the previous one and roll back if possible.
Rotating the antennas so they point upward seems to have made a huge difference so far. The connection feels much more stable, although I’m still testing it. Event Viewer showed wireless-security and WLAN AutoConfig connection errors during earlier dropouts, and the signal occasionally shifts from four bars to three.
