I created a new AWS account on August 5, 2026 and received the initial $100 promotional credit. I also completed activities involving EC2 and RDS, which I understood could qualify me for another $20 in credits, but those additional credits never appeared.
The original $100 was used by Bedrock. My August billing statement shows $172.41 in charges, a $100 promotional-credit deduction, $13 in tax, and a final amount of $85.41. The AWS Console now shows no remaining promotional credit.
I previously opened Support case 178603278100815, but it was closed after no response was received for seven days. I would like to know whether others have received the extra credits, where AWS shows which activities have been recognized as complete, whether account or Free Tier status can prevent the credits from appearing, and whether Support can restore credits that were not applied. I can provide screenshots of my billing statement, credit status, and resources if needed.

These credits are usually applied automatically, so a missing credit often means one of the required steps or resource configurations did not match the promotion’s instructions. Check both the credits area on the main dashboard and the Billing credits section for the activity requirements and completion status. In some cases, the credit appears within about ten minutes after the activity is completed. Since your case was closed for inactivity, reopening it is the best way to have AWS check the account-specific details. Also consider setting billing alarms, because Bedrock usage can consume credits quickly.
The closure notice generally means Support replied and did not receive a response within seven days, rather than that the issue was rejected. Reopen the case and respond to the latest message so Support can review whether the activities qualified and whether any missing credits can be added.
