I'm putting together a U.S. order from Newegg with Windows 11, RAM, and a PC case. Each item says it qualifies for free shipping, and all three are listed as sold and fulfilled by Newegg. However, checkout is adding a $79 shipping charge. What could cause this, and how can I figure out which item is triggering the fee?

The PC case is the most likely culprit. Large or oversized cases sometimes qualify for free shipping on the listing but receive a shipping charge based on the delivery address at checkout. Try removing the case and checking out the other two items separately to identify what adds the fee.
Check the shipping details for each item in the cart, not just the product pages. Marketplace listings can have different shipping rules, and one item may have been substituted or added from another seller. Make sure every item still shows Newegg as both the seller and fulfillment provider.
Try checking the order with the items separated into individual carts, and verify the exact delivery ZIP code and shipping method. A $79 charge could come from oversized-item delivery, a regional restriction, or a checkout error. If the listings still clearly promise free shipping, customer support should be able to explain or correct the charge.

That makes sense. I’ll test the case separately and compare the shipping details in the cart.
