I recently had a new PC professionally built, and I noticed that the small VRM fan mounted on the pump block of my Arctic Liquid Freezer never spins. I set the fan speed to 100% in the BIOS, but nothing changed. I also removed and reseated the magnetic fan module carefully, but it still doesn't work. What should I check next?

Check how that little VRM fan is powered. It may use a separate connector from the main pump or radiator fans, and a fan hub might not be supplying the right connection or power. Try connecting it directly to an available motherboard fan header, using the correct header or a suitable splitter if necessary. If it still won’t run when connected directly, the fan module or its cable may be faulty.
Dust or debris can sometimes stop a small fan like this, especially if it has been sitting unused for a while. Inspect the blades and the magnetic mount, clean it gently with compressed air, and make sure nothing is rubbing. If it remains completely still with a direct connection and the BIOS is commanding full speed, it may need to be replaced.
I checked behind the back panel. The builder installed a fan hub, and all of the cables appear to be firmly connected. I don’t see any loose or unplugged cables.
