I'm using an HP laptop with Windows 11 and a 12th-generation Intel Core i5 processor. The Wi‑Fi sometimes refuses to turn on or off, and even when it is enabled, no available networks appear. Bluetooth has been behaving similarly: the option occasionally disappears, connections fail, and it sometimes turns itself off. Bluetooth has improved after troubleshooting, but the problem still happens randomly. Now the Wi‑Fi issue is preventing me from working, and I'm not very experienced with computer troubleshooting. What should I try?

Open Device Manager from the Start menu, expand Network adapters, find the wireless adapter, and open its Properties. Under the Driver tab, try updating the driver. If no update is available, you can uninstall the wireless device and restart Windows so it reinstalls a basic driver, but it’s safer to do that only if you have Ethernet or another way to get online. Since Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth are both affected, also check whether wireless connectivity is disabled in the laptop’s settings or by a physical switch.

I checked the adapter and Windows said the driver was already up to date and the device was working properly, but the problem still happens.
