Accidentally Spilled Ramen Inside My PC—What Now?

I accidentally spilled a few drops of ramen noodle soup, about five drops, which seeped through the mesh of my PC case and landed on my motherboard. After that, my keyboard and mouse stopped working right away, but the PC itself remained on. When I restarted, the screen was just black. I'm beginning to accept that I might need to replace most of my components due to this mishap. Can anyone help me figure out what parts are likely still okay? My motherboard is a Gigabyte B650M.

Definitely turn off the PC immediately. Use some isopropyl alcohol to clean the affected areas and give everything time to dry out completely. Fingers crossed it turns back on afterward!

For real! I saved a couple of my old PCs by cleaning up spills like this. Just clean, let it dry overnight, and then hope for the best.

Hey, first things first: show us some pictures of the mess inside your PC. I don’t think you’ll have to replace everything, but any parts that got ramen on them might need to be swapped out.
