Advice for Building a $1500 Gaming PC

I'm new to building PCs, but I've tinkered a bit before. I'm looking to put together a gaming PC with a budget of $1500. My goal is to play games at good settings and achieve solid FPS, but I'm really focused on making sure this build lasts for years. I'm into games like Apex Legends, Clair Obscur, Elden Ring, Minecraft, Call of Duty, Borderlands, and GTA. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Check out Microcenter's PC builder tool on their website. They often have great bundles for motherboards, CPUs, and RAM. For example, their 9700x bundle is around $400, which leaves you with about $1100 for the rest. If you can find a 9070xt for around $600 to $700, you can still get a good case for about $100, a 2TB NVME SSD for around $150, and an 850w PSU for another ~$100. It’s tricky to pin down exact builds with prices changing all the time, but that’s a solid starting point!

If you're open to spending a bit more, the 7800x3d bundle is about $520 and will give you much better gaming performance.
