Advice for Building a $5500 PC

Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build a new PC and have a budget of around $5500 AUD, though I'm flexible if there are upgrades that are worth the extra cost. Here's my current build list: [PCPartPicker List](https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/cd8kC8). I believe this list aligns with what I want, but I'm uncertain if there are better options in terms of compatibility or other factors. Aesthetics aren't a major concern for me, but I'd prefer everything to be in the same color scheme. I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions on my build!

$5500 AUD is quite a hefty budget for a PC! You might actually save some cash and still get great performance. In Australia, some components seem overpriced, so check for bundle deals—often, retailers have solid discounts on CPUs and motherboards when bought together. I'd recommend sticking with 32GB of RAM for now; going beyond that doesn't really give you any extra benefits given current prices.

Good points! I wish I lived closer to physical stores for those deals, but I agree on the RAM; less is more in this case.

Looks like a solid build overall! Keep in mind that RAM prices are quite high right now, and waiting a bit might help. One thing I’d suggest is reconsidering the air cooler for the 7800X3D; it runs hot! If you can, grab an AIO cooler instead. A 360mm one would fit perfectly if you've got the space.

Thanks for the tips! Just to clarify, what’s an AIO? I’m not familiar with that term.

An AIO is an All-In-One liquid cooler. It's more efficient than standard air coolers for handling high-performance CPUs.
