Hi everyone! I'm looking to build a gaming PC for my 10-year-old son who's been saving up for a while, and his birthday is coming up in September. I already purchased a be quiet! Dark Base Pro 901 in white, which has a glass panel so we can see the parts inside. I'm working with a budget of around 1000€.
I'm wondering if I should build the PC now or hold off until September to see if I can score some better deals on Prime Day. I want to make sure the build is flexible and upgradeable so he can enjoy it for many years. Bonus points if we can add some nice RGB lighting to match the white aesthetic! Thanks for your help!

If you’re looking for a good setup, I'd recommend this build: [pcpartpicker.com/list/FDw43w](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FDw43w). The Ryzen 7000 series offers a fantastic upgrade path. It’s top of the line for future-proofing, and AMD's gaming CPUs are leading the market right now, which should be great for your son in the long run!
Honestly, prices are pretty decent right now, so I wouldn't wait until September. The hardware market can be all over the place, and you might miss out on good deals. Also, check out r/buildapcforme for component suggestions based on your budget and needs.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check out that subreddit.
Great, thank you! Can I just move my post over to r/buildapcforme, or should I create a new one there?
