Hey everyone! I'm switching from a PS5 to PC gaming, and I want to build a rig that will last me at least five years. I'm aiming for good performance, especially for playing games like Cyberpunk 2077 with mods at 4K resolution. I've done a lot of research on the individual components I've picked out, but I'm feeling a bit shaky on the motherboard side of things. I'd appreciate any help or suggestions you've got. Thanks a lot!

I wouldn't go with that GPU; it's pricey and doesn't provide much more than basic 5070 Tis. There are better options like the PNY Triple Fan 5070 Ti or the WINDFORCE SFF that are more commonly found. Also, when it comes to motherboards, consider what you really need. More expensive ones have more USB ports and faster options, but even cheaper ones can handle the basics perfectly well, especially for a solid GPU like yours.

Check this out! I found a way to cut costs by $300 while keeping the same power levels with different parts. You could get faster RAM, switch to a different motherboard, and find a cheaper 5070 Ti model. If you like the looks of your original mobo, go for it; the differences aren't huge. Also, think about going for a 2TB storage instead of 4TB to save over $100 if you don't need all that space.

Cool thanks. I just read that the Aorus Master was the best model for the 5070 Ti.

I did some adjustments for you as well! And if you're looking for Windows, remember that there are other places to buy it—just don’t mention them here to avoid any trouble. Also, I picked two separate 2TB drives for some redundancy, which could be useful.

Thanks, any reason you went with 2 separate 2TB storages?

If you can, go for CL30 RAM; it's really the sweet spot right now. Also, instead of buying a retail Windows license, you might save a lot of money getting an OEM key—it could allow you to upgrade to better parts!

Thanks, will do!
