Advice for Upgrading from a GTX 2060 to a New GPU

I've been using an RTX 2060 (6GB) and lately, it just isn't cutting it anymore. I've been noticing frame drops in some recent games, and even older titles aren't running smoothly. My CPU is an i7 9700k (3GHz with a boost to 4.5GHz), but without upgrading my cooling, I can't expect much improvement without getting a new motherboard. I'm considering upgrading to a new GPU, especially looking into Radeon options, but I feel lost when it comes to understanding which models are better. I'm seeking advice on budget-friendly graphics cards, preferably between $200-$350, including the possibility of buying second-hand. Any suggestions?

Honestly, for that price range, you're not going to find anything significantly better than the 9060XT. If you can stretch your budget a little, the 16GB variant is really worth it!

What resolution are you gaming at? And what types of games are you mostly playing? That could help narrow down your options!

I'm gaming at 1080p, trying to get a steady 60 fps. I'm really looking forward to Resident Evil Requiem and Code Vein 2, but I'd be fine with lowering the graphics a bit if needed.

You might want to consider the Arc B580. It's generally cheaper than the 9060XT and still offers 12GB of VRAM, which is great for the price range you're looking at.

Given your budget, the 9060XT with 8GB is a solid choice. If you're near a Micro Center, you might find the 16GB version for about $349—that's a good deal!
