I'm in the process of building a solid PC that won't be overkill for my gaming and content creation needs. I game at 1440p with a focus on competitive titles, typically not maxing out settings. My monitor is a 240Hz OLED, so I'd love to match that performance. While I don't need the PC to last for a decade, I want something that's worth the investment and won't require an upgrade in just a year or two. I'm looking for a good price-to-performance balance and am indifferent to brands or aesthetics as long as the components are reliable. I'm also planning to overclock for better performance. I will be getting the build done at Microcenter, which includes a labor warranty on certain parts. Here's the current parts list I've gathered so far. Any suggestions or changes you think I should make?

Your parts list looks solid! Honestly, you should just go ahead and buy them. With that setup, you'll be able to run games at max settings for 1440p easily. Trust me, you're covered!

I plan to finalize everything by the weekend, so I just want to ensure there are no changes I should make before spending that much money. That's why I'm reaching out for advice!
