Advice Needed for Building a PC Around an RTX 6000 Blackwell

Hey everyone! I just got my hands on an RTX 6000 Blackwell from a friend and I need some help planning a PC build around it. I'm eyeing a deal for the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E APEX paired with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D. For RAM, I'm thinking about a 2x 64GB DDR5 kit from G.SKILL (model F5-6000J3444F64GX2-TZ5NR). It's been quite a while since I built a PC—about 10 years—so I'm feeling a bit out of the loop on the latest hardware trends. Another question I have is whether I should go for an all-in-one radiator or if a Noctua cooler would suffice, considering the 600W GPU is going to generate a lot of heat. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

If money's tight, you might want to think about selling the card instead. You could probably get enough to build a solid PC with a 5090 and still have some cash left over. For everyday tasks and gaming, you likely won't notice a big difference unless you're doing heavy AI work on it.

That sounds like a smart move! I built my rig just for fun and enjoyment, so prioritizing your needs makes a lot of sense.

Honestly, if you're looking to save some cash, you might want to consider a less expensive motherboard like the X870E Tomahawk or even an X870E Gaming Plus. As for the cooler, the Corsair Nautilus RS 360 works really well. And don't forget to get a case that has good airflow; something like the H9 Flow would be great. For the power supply, go for at least 1200-1600W if you're thinking about adding another GPU down the line—it'll ensure you're covered.
