Hey folks! I'm looking for some advice on buying two identical monitors for my brother's birthday. He works from home as a programmer and occasionally plays some games, so I'm thinking of getting him 27-inch monitors. My budget is around €300-400. Many programmers boost their productivity with larger screens that let them open multiple windows at once. Consider getting two 32" 4K displays if you can, but I'd suggest a single big monitor might be better. You could always get him a second monitor later when you can afford it!
Look for 1440p VA or IPS panels, and aim for at least 100+fps since those are becoming standard. Make sure to read reviews to find the best one within your price range!
For 27-inch monitors, aim for 1440p resolution, but there are also 4K options worth considering. I usually check out Rtings for detailed monitor reviews. For basic office work, you can’t go wrong with most monitors, so see what fits your budget!
