I'm putting together a midrange gaming PC with a budget of €1500, aiming for solid performance at 1440p and at least 100 fps in games like CoD, Metro Exodus, BF1, the upcoming Doom game, and Ghost of Tsushima. I'm debating whether to go with the Ryzen 5 9600X or make the leap to the 9700X. For the GPU, the prices I'm looking at are €490 for the 7800XT, €600 for the RTX 5070, and €690 for the 9070. I opted for the B850 motherboard to ensure some future-proofing with the Gen 5 PCIe slot, and I'm using an 850W PSU for potential upgrades down the line. For storage, 1TB should suffice for now. I'd love to hear your thoughts and recommendations! You can check out my build here: [PCPartPicker Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Xbh24p)

If you're choosing between the 5070 and 9070, I'd recommend going with the 5070. It offers better overall performance compared to the 9070 based on benchmarks. Plus, it fits nicely within your budget!
I don't know about that. In my experience, the 9070 performs similarly in many scenarios. It might come down to brand preference rather than outright performance.
Yeah, I did some testing and found that in several games, the 9070 actually got higher FPS. It can be a close call depending on the titles you play.
