Advice Needed for My First PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm venturing into building my first PC after being a lifelong laptop user and console gamer. I've mostly played games like Minecraft and Factorio on my M2 Air, which has 16GB of RAM. I usually use my laptop for work as a software engineer, juggling multiple VS Code instances, a Docker container, and need a Linux VM if I switch back to Windows. However, I've run into issues with swap memory filling up, which burdens my laptop's battery life since it's always plugged in. I've put together a build I believe will be powerful enough to last 7-8 years. I'm currently waiting for GPU prices to drop a bit more. My primary goals for this PC are programming, CUDA/local LLM inference, and some casual gaming. I'm currently doing CUDA programming using cloud VMs.

Your build looks solid, but I think the case choice is a bit pricey. You might want to check out the Lian Li V100; it has a cool fish tank design and comes with 4 pre-installed ARGB fans, or you could explore the Montech XR. It's well-reviewed and more budget-friendly!

Thanks for the case recommendation! Should I stick with the current bundle I've chosen, or is it better to wait for other options?
