Advice Needed for My First PC Build – Is It Balanced?

Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build my first PC and I'm a bit nervous since I've only ever used laptops before. Here's my current plan:

* **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7700X (4.5 GHz / 5.4 GHz)
* **Cooler:** be quiet! Dark Rock 5
* **Motherboard:** MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
* **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000 MHz CL36
* **GPU:** ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5060 Ti OC Edition 16GB
* **SSD:** Kingston NV3 1TB
* **Case:** be quiet! Pure Base 600 Window
* **PSU:** Corsair RM850x Cybenetics Gold

This all adds up to about €2000. I specifically need the 16GB VRAM for training models as a hobby and I also want a good CPU for scientific work. Since I'm a PhD student, I can't really afford to go above this budget.

Could you let me know if there's anything essential that I'm missing? Does this setup seem well-balanced for my needs? I'm completely new to this, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks! 😊

Hey there! Can you share the prices for each component? Also, where are you based? I wonder if you could upgrade to a 9000-series CPU, but it'd depend on the costs in your area.

Sure! Here's the breakdown of prices:

* ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5060 Ti OC Edition 16GB – 489€
* AMD Ryzen 7 7700X (4.5 GHz / 5.4 GHz) – 299€
* MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI – 215€
* Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000 MHz CL36 – 485€
* Kingston NV3 1TB SSD – 159€
* be quiet! Dark Rock 5 – 579€
* be quiet! Pure Base 600 Window – 104€
* Corsair RM850x Cybenetics Gold – 164€

And I'm in France! The 9000 series seems to be at least 200€ more – do you think it's worth it?
