I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card on my MSI Nightblade B85C. Here are my specs: I'm running an Intel Core i7-4790 processor, an Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and I have a 128GB SSD along with a 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD. My performance is above average, but the GTX 970 is now a bottleneck, especially for modern games. I have a 350W power supply and I'm not sure if a thicker card will fit in the slim slot. The graphics card has a 6-pin connector. What would be a suitable upgrade that works with a 6-pin connector? I'm feeling a bit lost trying to figure out my options here.

Considering your setup, an RTX 3050 or 3060 could be good upgrades, but remember, with older systems like yours, any new GPU might still bottleneck with the CPU. If you don't want to upgrade the whole system right now, those GPUs are worth looking into. Just keep in mind that modern games might still push your limits.
