Advice Needed for Upgrading My 5-Year-Old CPU and GPU

I've been using the same PC build for about 5 years, and recently, I've been playing more modern games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Deadlock, which my current components are really struggling with. I'm looking to upgrade my CPU and GPU to improve performance, but I want to stay within a budget of around $350-400. If the upgrades are worth it, I might be willing to spend a little more. Also, I would appreciate recommendations on the best places to buy these upgrades. My current setup includes: AMD Ryzen 3 3300X, Nvidia GTX 1650, ASRock B550M-HDV Micro ATX motherboard, and a 650W PSU.

Honestly, the best bang for your buck would be trying out the Ryzen 5 5600 combined with an RX 7600. That should fit your PSU just fine and give you a significant boost in performance for less demanding games.

Before you buy new components, make sure to update your motherboard's BIOS. This will help maximize compatibility and performance. Considering a new cooler for your CPU could also be a good idea if you go for a higher-end model!

You have a solid motherboard, so consider upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600, 5700X, or even the 5800X. For the GPU, you can look at the RX 6700 XT or the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti, both will give you a nice boost for modern gaming.

For around $400, you can find some good deals on GPUs like the RTX 2070 or RX 6800 XT on platforms like eBay. If you can stretch your budget just a bit, a 6900 XT would really kick things up a notch! Also, don't forget to check for used parts if you're okay with that.
