Advice Needed for Upgrading My GPU

I'm planning to upgrade my GPU during the Black Friday sales, but I'm a bit lost on where to start. Here's my current build: I have a 1660 Super (6 GB) GPU, an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700F processor, an HP 8860 A motherboard, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB HDD, and a 500 GB SSD. My power supply is 400 watts and Gold Certified. I have a budget of $500 for the upgrade. Could anyone suggest some GPU options and let me know if I also need to upgrade my power supply? Thanks for your help!

Definitely look into a new PSU. The 9060 XT runs efficiently at around 150W, making it a great option if you want to avoid upgrading the power supply immediately. But ultimately, I recommend getting at least a 650W PSU for better future-proofing.

Considering your current setup, you'll definitely need a power supply upgrade if you want to go for a better GPU. Cards like the 9060 XT or 5060 TI are solid choices, but check the benchmarks to see which fits your needs best.

I agree with the previous suggestion about the proprietary issues. If you plan on getting a new GPU, the 9060 XT or even the 5060 TI in 16GB are good picks, but you'll also have to think about the case and the overall compatibility.

Your motherboard and power supply are proprietary, which complicates things. Upgrading them won’t be straightforward, and you can’t just buy a compatible PSU from any store. That's something to keep in mind.
