I'm planning to upgrade my PC to handle some 4K gaming, and I'm a bit lost on where to start, especially when it comes to the CPU. Here's my current setup:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
- **GPU**: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER GAMING OC
- **MoBo**: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING AM4
- **RAM**: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 3200
I'm considering getting an ASUS TUF 5070ti for my GPU upgrade, but I'm unsure about the CPU. I've heard good things about the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but I think it might not be compatible with my motherboard. The AMD Ryzen 5800TX also crossed my mind, but I'm worried it might bottleneck my performance. Any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated!

For 4K gaming, your GPU will do most of the heavy lifting, so I'd recommend upgrading to that 5070ti first. As for the CPU, moving to a Ryzen 7000 series or newer would mean changing your motherboard and RAM too, which can get pricey. The Ryzen 5800TX could be okay, but it might cause some bottlenecking with the new GPU since a lot of games are CPU-intensive these days. It's all about balancing your build!

Do you think a 5800TX would be enough?
