Advice on My First PC Build – What Should I Change?

I'm diving into my first ever PC build and it's been quite the ride learning about everything, so I'd appreciate any tips or recommendations! My setup is linked here: [PCPartPicker Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HjtrH3).

I aim to set up a dual monitor system—one monitor for gaming and the other for content creation. I'm also thinking about future-proofing this build. Here are my main questions:
1. Should I consider switching to the Asus ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO Motherboard?
2. Is it worth it to upgrade to a Corsair HX1200i power supply?
3. Should I go with the 6000 CL28 RAM or the 6400 CL30?
4. Regarding CPUs, would you recommend the 9800X3D, 9900X3D, or 9950X3D?

You've got a pretty great high-end build here, but there are definitely some areas to optimize. For your motherboard choice, unless you're planning on serious overclocking, stick with something that has the I/O you need. For RAM, lower latency is better, so I’d vote for the 6000 CL28. As for CPUs, all three options are excellent, but I’d advise the 9800X3D for simplicity unless you’re really going to push the limits of the 9950X3D. Also, I’d upgrade to an AIO cooler since your CPU choices can produce a lot of heat!

Honestly, I think you’re overspending on quite a few components. You probably don’t need the Crosshair motherboard or the fancy RAM you chose. For the power supply, 1200W is definitely overkill; you could get by with something around 850W for your setup. Overall, while it’s a solid build, you might want to scale back a bit to save some cash for a better GPU down the line.

Looks like you're getting a bit carried away on prices! For the motherboard, unless you need the extra features of the X870E, a cheaper B850 will do just fine and save you some money. For the power supply, I’d stick with something like the RM850x; it's more than enough. And regarding memory speed, either choice is fine, but 6000 CL28 offers the best performance for your CPU. For CPUs, if you're mainly gaming, the 9800X3D should suit your needs perfectly—skip the 9900 as it’s not worth it for gaming.

I agree with you on the motherboard! It's better to save some cash and invest it in a powerful GPU later. And yeah, the 9800X3D is a fantastic choice that won't break the bank!
