Alternatives to DoIt DevOps Support?

I've been using DoIt for DevOps support for a few years, mainly because they offered free assistance from a senior engineer when I moved my AWS account to them. This support was pretty helpful, even if it was basic and not super hands-on. But they've recently changed their model to start charging $750 to escalate support tickets, and their AI bot isn't any more helpful than ChatGPT or Grok. It's frustrating because it feels like they're just trying to cash in without providing real value. With DoIt no longer a viable option, are there any good alternatives that still offer free senior DevOps support if I move my AWS servers to them?

Honestly, it all comes down to the level of support you get. AWS support might end up being cheaper for what you need compared to these guys.

Sounds like DoIt just locked people in and is now trying to cash in. No solid company gives away free DevOps support, right? What kind of support are you looking for that you can't handle yourself? By the way, what's the website for DoIt? I couldn't find it just searching."

The website is actually www.doit.com, not 'dolt'. They've been around but are definitely switching tactics now with the AI trend. I worry that this might hurt their business in the long run.

If you're looking for savings, AWS offers some great discounts if you commit to a spending contract that covers multiple accounts. We get around 20% off! So while it's not free support, it significantly cuts costs.

I had my own issues with DoIt when I was using Google. They made a ton just by directing my cases to GCP support. It's a bit wild how they profit!

For $750 per call, you could hire real professionals to do the work for you. That's where I'd put my money!
