Am I Losing My Coding Skills By Relying on AI?

I've been diving into a small project and basically letting AI do all the coding for me. I just prompt it, and somehow everything comes together, but I've started feeling guilty. I'm worried that I'm turning into a "vibe programmer" and not really learning anything. Any advice on how to start learning coding properly instead of just depending on AI all the time?

Just think about it: the more you use AI, the less you'll actually learn. Eventually, AI might produce code that doesn’t work with your project's needs. So it's best to build a strong foundation first.

Try to research and read documentation instead of leaning on AI. If you keep using it, you might miss out on important learning opportunities.

If you really want to learn, just stop using AI for coding altogether. It might be tough, but there's really no shortcut. You need to do the work yourself to understand what you're doing.

AI can be a tool, but it shouldn’t replace your learning. Start simple—build a calculator or a simple app. Use AI to help understand your code better, but don’t let it write everything for you.
