Hey everyone! I'm reaching out because we've been experiencing some random Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) issues across our Windows 11 24H2 desktops here at the office for about a week now. We've talked to a few other architecture firms that are dealing with the same problem. After analyzing some crash dumps with Microsoft, it seems there's something corrupting the memory heap for "services.exe." They had me set up gflags.exe to monitor this specific service, so we can get more data the next time it crashes. Has anyone else noticed similar issues? What have you tried to fix it?

I’ve seen some older Intel laptops get BSoDs after being freshly installed with 24H2. Various users had different roles and it seems they might have started happening since a recent Windows update. I’m keeping a close eye on this too.
Have you checked if this correlates with any recent updates? Patch Tuesday updates, antivirus, or driver changes could be affecting things. Just because it seems like an architecture-specific issue doesn't mean it isn't a broader problem. Sometimes, it's a specific toolset causing the conflict, so have you rolled back any updates yet?
What security software are you using at your firm? Are you all on the same systems as the other firms you're in touch with? Sometimes security settings can trigger these kinds of issues.
We're using Windows Defender Enterprise here.

That makes sense. We're checking to see if other departments are also experiencing BSoDs. Could be tied to a software update.
