I've been having some serious issues with printers ever since the May 2025 cumulative update. In the last three weeks alone, I've had to replace four printers—HP, Lexmark, and Brother! Plus, I've manually restarted the print spooler on a dozen different machines. What is going on? Has anyone else faced something similar?

I recently had to switch all of my drivers for Konica printers to universal to avoid issues with Excel. Plus a couple of label printers acted up, which I suspect was related to some switch ports. Maybe that's part of your problem too?
I had a ridiculous battle with a Xerox printer today that thought it had an infinite print queue. It was a pain to resolve, starting from some weird fax it received. What a headache!
I installed the May 2025 updates recently and all my printers are still working fine. I’ve got a lot of printers too, so I'm hoping this doesn't hit me later!
Wow, I can't believe the May 2025 updates could be responsible for that! Printers have always had a reputation for being troublesome, but this is next-level. What's been the specific issue with your printers, just constantly failing?
This sounds really concerning! What OS are you running? Server 2019, 2022, or newer? Might help narrow down the issue since I manage a pretty big print server myself.

Yeah, honestly, if you're just realizing printers are a nightmare, welcome to the club! They've been the bane of IT for ages.
