Are AMD GPUs Having Driver Issues, or Is It Just a Rumor?

Hey everyone! I'm really into gaming and have my eyes on the AMD 9070 since I've heard great things. However, I've been reading some recent posts where people claim there are driver issues with AMD cards. I know this has been a discussion in the past, but is it still a problem? If anyone here owns AMD cards, have you experienced any issues? Also, I saw some pricing online in INR: a 4070 Super for Rs 58,500, a Gigabyte 5070 OC for Rs 62,500, and the 9070 for around Rs 63,500. A couple of weeks ago, I got a quote for a Zotac 5070 for Rs 61,500 offline, which sounds decent considering the warranty. Nvidia cards have features like DLSS and better support for various apps (which I don't currently use, but might explore). On the other hand, AMD has more raw performance and features like FSR 4, but still lags a bit behind in some areas. I'm also curious if AMD's encoder issues affect streaming on Discord. Does the CPU pick up the load for streaming, or can I do it with an AMD GPU?

I own a 9070 XT and honestly, I haven't faced any major issues with it. It's been smooth sailing for me!

Honestly, I feel like driver issues are usually more of an Nvidia problem than AMD's, especially for 2025. For gaming, the RX 9070 is definitely a solid choice, performance-wise it beats the 5070 and 4070 Super by quite a margin. And about the price confusion, I'm not sure what currency you've listed, but the 4070 Super doesn’t quite stack up to the 5070 either—just a thought! Here’s a link comparing the RX 9070 and RTX 5070 if you're interested: [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DcYu3ImTgk). Plus, keep in mind that the 5070 has 12GB, while the 9070 has 16GB, which could make a difference in gaming.

I think I saw the 4070 Super slightly outperforming the 5070 in some cases, but it's pretty negligible. Plus, the fake frames thing with the 4070 can be deceptive.

I edited my comment to clarify. I had originally posted in a different subreddit but it got deleted.
