Hey everyone! I'm thinking about pairing my 7800X3D CPU with the ASRock B850 Steel Legend WiFi motherboard. I've heard that there have been several issues with ASRock boards leading to 9800X3D CPUs getting fried, though I understand some of that has been addressed with recent BIOS updates. However, I haven't heard much about potential issues with the 7800X3D. Are there any known problems I should be aware of, or do you think this setup will be fine? Thanks for the help!

While they claim to have resolved the issues with new BIOS updates, I'd personally steer clear and opt for a different brand. If you're looking for budget alternatives, Gigabyte has some options similar in price to ASRock, and MSI has decent models for just a tad more.
I've seen posts in a related community warning about ASRock motherboards, with recent reports of CPUs failing. There are definitely better options at the same price point that don't carry this risk. I wouldn't take the chance with ASRock.

Yeah, but how many times have they claimed this before? It’s hard to trust them.
