I'm curious whether watching benchmark videos is still helpful if the build in the video uses 32GB of RAM while my own setup has only 16GB. Will the performance results be accurate, or will the difference in RAM skew the findings?

Most games don’t actually utilize more than 16GB of RAM to run, so unless you're multitasking with a ton of applications open (like having 69 Chrome tabs open), you should be fine. Performance might vary, but benchmarks can still give you a decent baseline.
Generally, the amount of RAM doesn't impact your experience too much unless you're trying to run games that require more than 16GB. For most titles, you should be just fine with your setup!
Check out some benchmarks that compare different RAM setups. There’s a great video I found that shows how games perform with 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and even 64GB. For example, in Mafia, the performance dropped significantly on 16GB, but it jumped up with 32GB. Just keep an eye on your VRAM as well; it plays a role in performance, especially with bigger setups!
It really depends on the game. While average performance won't differ much for most games, those that require heavy modding or higher RAM usage may show a gap. I'd recommend looking up specific benchmarks for your games.

That's good to know! So if I don't push my system too hard, I can rely on those benchmarks to gauge performance?
