I've been having an issue where my computer shuts down and restarts after running for about 5 to 6 minutes. This reboot happens on its own, but you can hear that the power supply and the stock cooler are still running. I had a similar problem last year, but it was infrequent. I replaced the power supply thinking it would solve the issue, and for a while, it seemed like it worked, but then the problem returned after a couple of hours. Right now, I'm using Linux Mint 21.3 (Virginia), and I haven't updated my OS in about a year; the latest version is 22.3 (Zena). Could this problem be caused by Linux, or do you think it's a hardware issue?

When you mentioned that it shuts down and restarts, does it feel like a normal shutdown and reboot, or does it freeze up and you have to manually restart it?
It might be worth checking your System Information. You can open the application, click the Copy button, and then paste the information here to get more insights about your hardware. How comfortable are you with this?
I'm not very tech savvy, so I'm not sure what that means!

The screen goes black, and then it starts up again after about 20-30 seconds, going straight to the Mint starting screen and asking for my password.
