I'm a complete newbie and have just selected my first PC components. I'm hoping to get some advice to ensure everything is compatible. Here's what I've picked out:
- **GPU**: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 8Gb Windforce OC for $310
- **CPU**: Intel Core i5 13400F for $106
- **Cooler**: iD Cooling SE-224-XTS ARGB for $22
- **Motherboard**: MSi Pro B760-P for $111
- **RAM**: Netac Shadow II DDR4 (2x16Gb) for $50
- **Case**: ZALMAN Z10 Black for $77
- **Storage**: 1TB ADATA Legend 900 for $69
- **Power Supply**: 650W Chieftec (BDF650C) for $80
My total is around $870, which is slightly above my $800-$850 budget. I've checked to see that all the components should theoretically fit together, but as a first-time builder, I'm looking for confirmation from the experts. I plan to use this PC for gaming, streaming, and light video editing.

If you're in the US, I can suggest a slightly better build for a bit more cash. If you're not, just keep an eye on prices, cause some parts can be more expensive outside the US. Your current GPU is a decent pick, but if you're mostly gaming, the performance could be a bit limiting, especially for streaming.
Sounds solid for a beginner setup, but your CPU and GPU might get outdated pretty quickly. If you’re looking to do serious gaming, consider an AM5 setup. You might find you can get better performance with some newer parts for about the same budget!
Yeah, I forgot to mention—this build is primarily for gaming and streaming, plus a little video editing.
Definitely check out PCPartPicker—it’s super helpful for verifying that everything works together. Just plug in your parts, and it’ll show you any compatibility issues. Also, don't sweat it too much; it's normal to double-check when you're new to this!
I did check PCPartPicker, and everything shows up as compatible, but I want to be sure before I order!

I'm actually not from the US either, and the GPU prices here are pretty steep at around $428!
