I recently updated my parts list for a new PC build, and I'm wondering if everything is compatible. I want to avoid any issues, especially those that might not show up on PCPartPicker. Here's the list I'm considering:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz 6-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM
- **Motherboard**: Asus PRIME B650-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5
- **Memory**: Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 1 TB M.2 NVME
- **Video Card**: ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 9070 16 GB
- **Case**: Fractal Design Pop Air RGB ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply**: Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 - V2 850 W
- **Monitor**: Cooler Master GM2711S 27.0" 2560 x 1440 180 Hz
The total price comes to $1441.70. Are there any compatibility issues with these parts that I should be aware of?

One thing to note about the ASRock video card is that their RGB controller is pretty limited. It's only compatible with their own software, and you might find that annoying if you want customizable lighting. Otherwise, everything seems to mesh well together!
If you don’t mind tweaking things, offsetting the cooler's fan should help with the RAM clearance!
Overall, your build looks solid! Just make sure to check if you need to update the BIOS on your motherboard before the CPU is recognized. It's usually straightforward, so you should be fine.
One thing to keep an eye on is the CPU cooler’s clearance over the RAM sticks. The Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE is 42mm tall, while the Viper Venom RAM is 43mm. So, you might run into a slight clearance issue there. Just something to double-check!
If you want to avoid that issue, you might want to look at a lower-profile RAM or a different cooler that has more clearance.
That's frustrating! Do you have any suggestions on what parts I could swap out to fix that?
I don't mind the RGB limitations since I'm planning to keep it all one color. Good to hear the rest of the build seems fine!
