I have a tight budget of around 10 bucks and I'm currently stuck with a pretty bad Everest keyboard that cost me $7.50. It has a strong plastic smell and only manages to recognize three keys at the same time, which is super frustrating. My motherboard does have a PS/2 port, so I'm wondering if it makes sense to invest in a PS/2 keyboard instead. I mainly want to use it for texting, racing games where I need to manage a clutch, gas, brake, and shifting, rhythm games similar to osu!mania, and playing Nintendo Switch games through an emulator using the keyboard. Any thoughts? Thanks for reading!

You might want to check out the Logitech K120; it's around $13 at Best Buy. It's not high-end, but it should last you a good 2-3 years and would be a solid option for your needs.
I don't live in the US, but I found one seller offering it for about $8. Do you know if it can register more than three keys at the same time?
