Are Radeon Graphics Cards Reliable?

I'm a total beginner looking to build a new PC and need some help with choosing a graphics card. I initially wanted the GeForce RTX 5070 that a work colleague recommended, but it's beyond my budget. Instead, he suggested the Radeon RX 9060 XT, but warned me that the drivers are known to be problematic. I want to make sure I can run the latest Final Fantasy on high settings, so I'm wondering if the concerns about Radeon drivers are justified or if I should consider another graphics card.

You might want to check out the RX 9070 XT if your budget allows it. It runs pretty well, giving solid frame rates on ultra settings!

If you have a Microcenter nearby, they're selling the RX 9060 XT for a good price right now. I have it installed and while I've experienced some crashes in certain games, overall it performs well for the budget.

I've got a newer AMD card (7900 XT) and a fresher Nvidia card (5060). No issues at all with my AMD, but I've had to roll back drivers on my Nvidia a couple of times. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, the 9060 XT is solid, especially with some recent sales on 5060 Ti.

Honestly, I think AMD has really upped their driver game over the last few years. The RX 9060 XT, especially the 16GB version, offers great value for money and should handle your needs quite well without major driver issues.

I've been using the 9060 XT since it launched, and I've never faced any driver problems. It's an incredible card! However, if you're looking for alternatives, I noticed that Walmart has the RTX 5060 Ti for about $369, which might be a better deal than the 9060 XT at $389.

Here's the link if you're interested: [Walmart 5060 Ti](https://www.walmart.com/ip/RTX-5060-TI-16G-SHADOW-2X-OC/16603867637). It's about 8% better than the 9060 XT.

Just a heads up, in India the 5060 Ti costs like 20-30% more than the RX 9060 XT. Might not be the best option depending on where you live.
