I'm putting together my first PC and I'm looking for a keyboard that's budget-friendly since I'm not a hardcore gamer. I mostly produce beats, do some work, and play light games. I found the Redragon K655 75% RGB keyboard, which looks interesting. Ideally, I would want a wireless option, but I want to keep costs down and avoid a black keyboard. I heard the stock keys might not be great. Is that true? Any other recommendations for keyboards?

Their keyboards are pretty cheap, and while they might work for experimenting with different mechanical switches, don’t expect them to last. If you can, I’d recommend saving up a bit more for something that lasts longer. Brands like Aula have good wireless options that come in colors other than black, and you might catch them on sale for as low as $50 during events.
I haven't bought their keyboards, but I do use Redragon mice. They’re not bad for the price, but expect some issues after about a year, like the mouse not tracking well or buttons failing. I see them as decent but disposable, so keep that in mind if you go for their keyboards.
Surprisingly, some of their stuff is decent for the price. I have a Redragon wireless mouse that was a solid upgrade for $35, way better than some pricier Logitech options I had that failed when batteries ran low.
I’ve gotten membrane keyboards from them before and my friends loved them for beginners. If you’re into gaming, I’d suggest a wired keyboard, but if you travel or have smaller hands, consider a 60-70% keyboard like the K655.
Honestly, a lot of folks say their keyboards are just rebranded junk from AliExpress. Proceed with caution!
